The event is set to give us a peek at the upcoming action games Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade, as well as titles for PS5 and PSVR2 coming in 2024 (and maybe even a few that are further off). Here’s everything you need to know about the PlayStation State of Play January 2024 presentation.

PlayStation State of Play January 2024 – what to expect
Sony has only confirmed that we will see extended looks at the upcoming action games Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, as well as “new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond”. However, some rumours about the event may have clued us in on what else to expect.
Warning: this section contains discussion of leaks, which possibly include the whole show, so if you want to be fully surprised, read no further.
Rumours about the PlayStation State of Play January 2024 event arrived earlier in the week, and based on what leaks are saying, these could be some of the titles included at the event:
- Death Stranding 2
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
- Sonic Generations Remaster
- Silent Hill 2
- New Metro game
- Until Dawn Remaster
If this is true, then we’d expect the event to end with a new look at Death Stranding 2, which hasn’t been seen since its reveal at The Game Awards 2022. But, we’ll have to watch the full event to find out for sure.
