Arsenal fans should be pretty pleased with their summer business after securing depth in three key positions to boost their hopes for a first Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners have brought in a new goalkeeper in David Raya, who comes in on a permanent deal, Ricardo Califiori has been brought in to bolster the back line while new midfielder Mikel Merino has also arrived to challenge the likes of Declan Rice, Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
Mikel Arteta’s side are still without a fresh addition up top after being linked with a number of forwards – including Ivan Toney – who could guarantee regular goals this season, and that might be a source of frustration for supporters.
There were also a handful of outgoings too after certain stars discovered they were not set to feature in Arteta’s plans for the season.
Aaron Ramsdale’s future at Arsenal looked bleak after Raya usurped his No 1 goalkeeping spot last season and he later secured a move to Southampton on deadline day.
As the 11pm deadline passed, Raheem Sterling had not yet been confirmed as an Arsenal player amid a potential loan move from Chelsea with an obligation to buy.
Mirror Football has taken a look at all the incomings and outgoings coming out of the Emirates this summer.
