A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A woman has died following a collision between a car and a lorry this afternoon. We were called to the A4137 in Glewstone, Ross on Wye, at 12.44pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
“On arrival crews discovered the driver of the car, a woman, in a critical condition. She was already receiving basic life support from bystanders before ambulance staff began administering advanced life support.
“However, despite everyone’s best efforts it sadly became apparent nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene. Two men from the lorry were assessed and discharged at the scene.”
