The body of a male has been recovered from a park lake, it has been confirmed. The emergency services were called to Trittiford Mill Park in Yardley Wood on Saturday afternoon.
Crews from West Midlands Fire Service pulled the body of the male out of the lake, the force said. Investigations are continuing into the death but it is not being treated as suspicious.
A tent has been set up and police remain at the park which is just off Priory Road. West Midlands Ambulance Service was also called to the incident.

The force said in a statement: “We are currently at Trittiford Mill Park, Priory Road, Birmingham, after a man’s body was found in a lake. We are carrying out enquiries around the circumstances but it is not believed to be suspicious.”
A file will be sent to Birmingham and Solihull Coroners Court. The park is four miles to the south of Birmingham city centre. There are entrances on Priory Road and Scribers Lane.
