With Tommy Fury’s shock exit from the I’m a Celebrity lineup, fans are speculating on who will take his place. The boxer has reportedly pulled out of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! – just two weeks before the stars were expected to fly out to the Australian jungle.
The 25-year-old is rumoured to have been offered a rematch between him and KSI, which could earn him more than his appearance on the ITV show. Talking about his exit to The Sun, a TV insider said: “Bosses are surprised Tommy has chosen to pull out of I’m A Celebrity at this late stage as it would have been a great opportunity for him too.
“Thankfully, the execs already had some great names waiting in the wings so they’ll now be looking at which ones fit best into the line up already booked so they can deliver a truly great series.” Another boxer is already in the running with bookies to replace Tommy.

Ricky Hatton is a name being touted to take his place in the jungle. Ricky Hatton has previously expressed he would like to ‘go a few rounds’ in the jungle during his time on Dancing on Ice
The former boxer could be set to make more than £400k for an appearance on this year’s show, similar to that of Amir Khan in 2017.
However, the official lineup and salaries for 2024 are still under wraps. That said, the team at Spin Genie UK has estimated potential fees for some of this year’s rumoured stars by comparing them to previous contestants in similar occupations.
-
Colleen Rooney – More than £1.5 million
Colleen Rooney, known as the wife of footballer Wayne Rooney as well as a media personality, is rumoured to be taking home more than £1.5 million if she appears in the 24th season of the show. This substantial fee would make her the highest-paid contestant in the show’s history, surpassing the previous record held by Nigel Farage, who earned around £1.5 million in 2023.
-
Mick McCarthy – £500,000
Mick McCarthy, former football manager and player, is estimated to earn a fee of around £500k for his potential stint in the jungle this year. This is based on the earnings of other notable football figures, including Harry Redknapp, who won the 2018 series and was rewarded a similar amount for taking part in the show.
-
Richard Gadd – £250,000
Richard Gadd, the award-winning actor & writer best known for his one-man show Baby Reindeer, could potentially receive a £250k payout if he features on the show this year. This amount is in line with the fee EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt received in 2021.
3. Danny Dyer – £250,000
Adam Woodyatt isn’t the only EastEnders star to have made waves on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Similar to that of Richard Gadd, Danny Dyer may earn around £250,000 for an appearance on the show, based on the fee Adam Woodyarr received back in 2021.
