Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have revealed their newborn baby girl’s name. They shared some adorable photos of Bella Esmeralda, including one of her smiling while sleeping.
The sweet update comes just weeks after the couple announced the tragic news that their newborn son had died. Georgina gave birth to twins on Monday, April 18, but only Bella arrived safely.
The couple issued a statement which read: “It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”

They continued: “We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
Cristiano and Georgina also share a daughter named Alana Martina, who was born in 2017. The Manchester United footballer has a further three children – 11-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and twins Eva and Matteo, who he fathered via a surrogate mother in 2017.
